Our Education Story
Forager Education began with a question: how can we support cultural spaces when everything feels like it’s falling apart? During the early days of the COVID-19, our founder, Bryce Mathew Watts, an anthropologist and ethnobotanist, started speaking with museum curators across Canada. Funding cuts, staff shortages, and uncertainty were everywhere. But something stood out: No one lost sight of the mission.
Those conversations lit a fire. What started as a series of calls and videochats turned into the commitment of help rebuild and reimagine education in heritage spaces through creativity, collaboration, and care.

Our Mission
At Forager Education, we have a mission to innovate the education and tourism sector and provide professional curriculum expertise to cultural, heritage and tourism organizations searching for ways to better engage their projects and collections in a classroom setting. We seek to build a cultural sector that has the skills and resources to promote the shared history housed within their collections.

Our Journey
Originally founded in 2017 as a division of Forager Media Group, and guided by the innovative spirit of Forager International, which leads transformative initiatives in the TACH sector, we recognized an opportunity to reshape digital marketing, graphic design, and web services. We saw a chance to offer something unique—an approach that merges creativity with technical expertise, providing personalized digital strategies tailored to the needs of organizations in the tourism, arts, culture, and heritage sectors.
